National Centre for Circus Arts – Head of Learning and Access

The National Centre for Circus Arts is recruiting a new Head of Learning and Access. Deadline 15th Feb.

The Head of Learning and Access will focus on the development of outreach activities, and our progressive training courses (London Youth Circus and Centre for Advanced Training), with particular awareness of how these programmes dove-tail with our Higher Education programme. They will work in partnership with all areas of the organisation to ensure the continuity and connectivity of the ‘learner experience’ through the programme.

Main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Leading on the development and management of all progressive youth training programmes at NCCA, including London Youth Circus (LYC) and Centre for Advanced Training (CAT). Working closely with the Higher Education (HE) team to develop a continuity of approach from these courses to the HE programme.
  • Drive the delivery of Access and Outreach activities across all programme areas of NCCA, with particular reference to our Office for Students Access & Participation Plan.
  • Managing the Learning and Access team, and engaging fully as a member of the Heads of Department group at NCCA.
