Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance
Today, Trinity Laban is an international artistic and educational community that brings together performers and practitioners to train, collaborate, research and perform in inspiring creative, intellectual and physical spaces. We identify, support and develop talented and innovative performers and creators throughout their creative lives.
Providing specialist education of the highest international quality, Trinity Laban reflects the increasingly collaborative world of artistic practice. Our creative and cosmopolitan community of performers, composers, choreographers, teachers, dance scientists and researchers builds on the Conservatoire’s unique heritage whilst embracing the new, the experimental and the unexpected.
Over 1000 undergraduate and postgraduate students train at sites in South East London. The music faculty is based on the Old Royal Naval College site in Greenwich – a World Heritage Site. Dance students are based in Deptford at Laban – the Stirling Prize winning building designed by Herzog & de Meuron.
With a focus on supporting the lifelong career development of students and professional performing artists, Trinity Laban boasts unique industry links, a vibrant programme of performances and festivals, and ground-breaking education, community and social inclusion work.
